Gallant and Magistra combine forces

Gallant takes a growth step into the Jyväskylä market area as Magistra Accounting & Consulting Oy becomes part of the Gallant Group through a share transaction. Jyväskylä-based Magistra provides financial management services and consulting. Thanks to the merger, customers will have access to a wider range of financial management expert services. With this expansion, Gallant moves closer to its northernmost office in Iisalmi. 

The business operations of Jyväskylä-based Magistra will transition to Gallant, and the company's new name will be Gallant Jyväskylä Oy. Magistra has been providing comprehensive financial management services to companies with solid experience and diverse expertise gained over decades. Magistra has clients across Finland, but its strongest foothold is in the Central Finland region. 

“We wanted to take a growth step towards the north and at the same time closer to our Iisalmi office. We noticed that we share the same values with the owners of Magistra, which was a good starting point for combining our business operations. We want to invest in serving our customers personally and combine expertise and software know-how,” says Tuomas Tahvanainen, CEO of Gallant. 

In the future, Gallant will be able to offer Magistra's current customers even more comprehensive financial management expertise when services in this area expand.  

“For both Magistra and Gallant, understanding the customer's business and mutual trust are important. We are also united in the desire to help our customers succeed. With the broader range of expert services, we can better serve Magistra's existing customers,” says Magistra CEO Kirsi Surakka. 

Tiina Aroluoma, responsible for accounting services, will continue as the head of the Jyväskylä office. In addition, the Jyväskylä region will gain strength as Financial Advisor Elmeri Linnera takes on the role of an expert at Gallant Jyväskylä Oy, supporting the team in taking care of customer relationships." 

The companies employ 200 people in total, and their combined turnover is 15 million euros.
